Our commitment to accuracy
Getting things right matters. If we publish incorrect information, we want to know about it and fix it promptly. We take corrections seriously because our readers rely on us for accurate, trustworthy content.
How to report an error
If you spot a factual error, outdated information, or broken link in any of our articles, please let us know through our contact form with the subject "Report a correction". Include:
- The URL of the article
- A description of the error
- The correct information (with a source, if possible)
How we handle corrections
- Minor corrections (typos, formatting, broken links) are fixed without a notice.
- Factual corrections are noted at the bottom of the article with the date and nature of the correction.
- Significant errors that affect the article's conclusions are noted prominently at the top of the article.
Timeliness
We aim to review and respond to correction requests within 48 hours. Urgent corrections (such as health or safety information) are prioritized and addressed as quickly as possible.
